Abuse policy
tipeerQR is for sending people to apps. This policy lists what links may not be used for, how to report one, and how we act on reports.

Why this policy exists
tipeerQR links look trustworthy because they sit on a shared domain. One bad link can hurt every person who uses it, so we take abuse seriously. This policy lists what you may not do, how anyone can report a link, and what we do about it. It is part of the Terms of Service.
What you may not do
Do not use tipeerQR for any of the following.
- Do not send people to malware, meaning software or a download that harms their device or steals their data.
- Do not run phishing or scams. That includes pages that imitate another business, person or login page, and pages that trick people out of money or credentials.
- Do not use links for spam. That covers links in unsolicited bulk messages and links to pages that exist only to push spam.
- Do not link to illegal content. That means content that is illegal in Malaysia, including child sexual abuse material and content that supports terrorism.
- Do not infringe other people's rights. That covers copyright, trademarks and privacy. See the section on copyright and other rights below.
- Do not use deceptive redirects. Send visitors where the link, the QR code and its surrounding text said they would go, and never show reviewers one destination and visitors another.
- Do not chain shorteners. A tipeerQR link may not point at another link shortener or at another tipeerQR link to hide the real destination.
- Do not impersonate. A link, a slug or a custom domain may not pass as another person, brand or service.
- Do not evade enforcement. Do not make new accounts or domains to get around a disabled link or account, and do not probe or overload the service or work around its safety checks and limits.
How we find abuse
tipeerQR checks every http or https destination against Google Safe Browsing when you save a link and again each day. It rejects addresses on other link shorteners and on tipeerQR's own hosts. It limits how often an account can create or edit links to 100 per hour and limits sign-up attempts from one network.
A link whose destination Google flags stops redirecting, and visitors see a notice that the destination was flagged as unsafe. When the owner changes the destination, we check again. These checks miss things, so reports from people matter.
How to report a link
Anyone can report a link without an account. Use the report form. Enter the link, pick a reason (malware, phishing, spam, illegal content or something else), and add any details that help. You can leave an email address if you want us to be able to reach you. Only administrators see it. The form takes up to 5 reports per hour from one network.
Each report reaches an administrator by email and lands in a review queue. For legal notices or urgent harm, also email support@tipeer.com.
What we do
We read every report and decide as soon as we can. We do not promise a reply time. When a link breaks this policy, we disable it. For a repeat or a severe violation, we may disable the domain or the whole account behind it. Every action records a reason. A disabled link stops redirecting within 60 seconds, because that is how long each Cloudflare location keeps its last answer, and it shows this notice.
“This link was disabled for violating the abuse policy”
Links on a disabled account show the same notice and do not redirect, and a link disabled because the law requires it shows the same notice. We may also remove custom domains.
We can act without warning, and we do not have to tell the owner first, especially when a link causes urgent harm. We may report serious cases to the authorities.
Copyright and other rights
If a link leads to something that infringes your rights, email support@tipeer.com. Say which work or right is yours, give the tipeerQR link and the address it leads to, give your name and an email address where we can reach you, and say that you believe in good faith that the use is not allowed and that your details are correct.
We read each claim, and we may disable the link and tell its owner. We cannot decide who owns a work, so we may ask you for more proof.
If we got it wrong
If we disabled a link or account by mistake, email support@tipeer.com with the link and why you think it follows this policy. We read every message. If we agree the link follows this policy, we turn it back on. Repeat or serious violations can end an account for good.
Lawful requests
We answer valid legal requests from courts and authorities as the law requires. That can mean sharing the details of an account or a link and keeping the records of a report. Send legal notices to support@tipeer.com.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy as new kinds of abuse appear. We will change the effective date above when we do.
